Nicholas Marshi is the co-founder and Chief Investment Officer of BDCIA. He is also the founder and editor of the BDC Reporter (bdcreporter.com), the leading online publication dedicated to the Business Development Company sector. A prolific writer and analyst, Nick brings deep expertise in BDC credit analysis and portfolio construction.
Prior to forming BDCIA, Nick was a founder and principal of Southland Capital Partners, a Los Angeles-based private equity firm.

Bill Hansen is the co-founder and President of BDCIA, where he oversees firm operations and client relationships. Bill brings extensive experience in investment management and has been instrumental in building BDCIA’s client-focused advisory practice.
